Jicco Custom: DOTM Epilogue Series #2 - Brawl (Leader Class) with Heavy Weathering

Finally, completed this guy. Took me long enough due to life and work schedule, a little over 2 months on and off.

Wanted to do this for a long time. I think I bought this Brawl 3 years ago, lol. Always wanted to custom a desert color tank and now it's finally done, years later. Brawl is part of the story that I made up, Post - DOTM.

Took an Academy 1/35 M1 Abrams kit for the conversion. Now, Brawl spots a modified Abrams (again). As a result, the transformation is different comparing to the original version. I wanted the tank to look realistic with tracks, individual wheels and kibbles. The bot mode will now look "cleaner" with less kibbles on his chest (mine plow gone) and also around the head (tracks gone too).

The weathering is done by referring to various pictures I found on the net. I weathered him according to what I have in mind that can relate him to the scene/story. It's pretty much like how we saw Megatron when he first appeared in DOTM, someone that have been waiting for a long time.

Painted with both airbrush and hand. Lacquer and acrylic paint.Weathering were done with my custom made washes, pigments powder I got from a store and some extras pigment were self made.

Brawl is in 1:35 scale.

Here's the simple story that I made up.

After the reborn of Soundblaster following the events of DOTM (my first custom of the series - thread can be found here), his team has started their first operation - to find the other hidden decepticons around the world. The decepticons have been working with the human since the beginning as with the case of Dylan Gould. They came close to achieve their goal. However, Megatron got manipulated in by another human - Carly Spencer.

Dylan Gould was only just one of the many human villain that the decepticons have been working with.
